    Ronald Safren – Senior Executive in Real Estate Development and Property Management

    Ronald Safren is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of leadership experience in real estate development, property management, and business operations. Based in San Diego, California, Safren has held key positions in several prominent companies, where he demonstrated his expertise in overseeing large-scale development projects, managing multimillion-dollar facilities, and leading teams in real estate, property management, and hospitality sectors.

    For 16 years, Safren served as General Manager and Board Member of The Club at Shenandoah Springs Village, Inc. (CSSV), a private, for-profit company that operated a 250-acre recreational and event facility in Palm Desert, California. Under his leadership, the facility thrived with two golf courses, expansive meeting and event spaces, a 200-seat restaurant, pools, tennis courts, and more. He managed a professional staff of over 100 people, overseeing all operational aspects of the facility, which attracted over 4,000 monthly visitors.

    Simultaneously, Safren was Chief of Property Development at CSSV’s sister company, Shenandoah Springs Development, Inc. (SSD), where he led the development of 362 single-family homes and a 600,000 sq. ft. commercial shopping center. His extensive experience in land acquisition, design, construction, and marketing helped shape successful real estate ventures.

    Safren’s career includes pivotal roles at Pacific Huntington Development Company (PHDC) and Seaport Village Developments, where he spearheaded major projects such as oceanfront condominiums in San Clemente, CA, and various marina developments along the California coast. His strategic vision and operational acumen also led to his nomination for the prestigious Gold Nugget Award from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference.

    Safren holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California. He has also held licenses as a B-1 General Contractor and California Real Estate Salesman, currently inactive but in good standing. His civic engagement includes serving on the Southern California Rapid Transit District and the Portland Cement Exploratory Committee.
