As the Founder and CEO of Pathways 2 Abundance Inc., Mona has dedicated her post-public accounting career to helping business owners reconnect with their original vision, overcome financial and operational hurdles, and ultimately realize the personal and professional goals they set out to achieve.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2000 and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Mona built her reputation on delivering expert-level financial guidance across a variety of industries—most notably in construction, nonprofit, and chiropractic sectors. She is known for her pragmatic, non-biased approach as a Fractional CFO, offering clients the benefits of executive-level financial insight without the overhead of a full-time hire. Mona’s support goes far beyond compliance—she becomes a trusted business partner, helping navigate everything from day-to-day cash flow concerns to once-in-a-lifetime strategic decisions.
Prior to launching Pathways 2 Abundance, Mona served as the President of Wade CPA PC, where she provided tax planning, financial consulting, and small business advisory services to clients across Western North Carolina and beyond. After selling that firm in 2022, Mona focused her energy on her true passion—guiding entrepreneurs and small business owners in understanding their numbers, identifying opportunities, and moving confidently toward their vision of success.
Mona is also a respected leader in the professional community. She served as President of the Western Carolina Chapter of the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) and acted as an Ambassador for the organization until 2022 when she moved out of NC. Her commitment to professional development and community service extends to her ongoing role as Audit Chair for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, as well as her long-term volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity Asheville and other local organizations. In 2025, she joined the Board of Directors of the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, furthering her involvement in local economic development and small business growth.
Her leadership and expertise are also grounded in strong academic credentials. Mona holds both a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University, where she completed her studies while working full-time—an early testament to her determination and drive.
