Rebecca Hochreiter: Empowering Growth Through People, Purpose, and Transformational Leadership

Published on:

Rebecca Hochreiter is a distinguished People, Marketing, and Communications executive whose two decades of experience span startups, scale ups, and global enterprises. Her work centers on a deeply held belief that when organizations invest in their people with clarity, empathy, and intentional strategy, they unlock extraordinary performance. This philosophy has guided her through a multifaceted career marked by transformation of teams, brands, cultures, and entire business trajectories across multiple stages of growth.

Rebecca began her career in marketing, where she quickly developed a reputation for brand storytelling, digital strategy, and consumer engagement. At Digitas and Condé Nast, she helped shape early social, mobile, and multimedia activations before the modern digital ecosystem fully matured. Her work translating creative vision into measurable business results established her as a strategic operator who understands both audience psychology and performance metrics.

She later joined Integral Ad Science as one of the earliest senior hires, reporting directly to the CEO and leading marketing, communications, and culture initiatives. Rebecca guided a comprehensive rebrand that significantly accelerated traffic, lead generation, and overall market visibility, contributing to the company’s successful exit. During this time, she also deepened her focus on internal culture, introducing engagement programs and cross functional alignment initiatives that strengthened employee experience alongside brand growth.

At Celebration Travel Group, Rebecca revitalized established but stagnant brands and drove record breaking revenue in the company’s twelve year history. She transformed customer acquisition, digital strategy, and product positioning while partnering across functions to modernize operations. Her success led to expanded oversight of newly acquired businesses, where she rebuilt teams and systems that returned underperforming units to profitability.

Rebecca’s role at Paintzen, later acquired by PPG Industries, marked a pivotal expansion of her leadership scope. She initially joined to lead marketing but quickly assumed responsibility for customer service, inbound sales, and design teams in addition to her core function. She led her areas through the company’s successful exit and acquisition by PPG. Following the acquisition, Rebecca stepped into an expanded People and Communications leadership role that included People Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and Development, and Culture. She also led the integration with PPG, serving as a critical bridge between startup agility and enterprise structure while strengthening communication, compliance, and employee experience.

As the Founder’s first hire and Chief Marketing Officer at GoStork, a fertility marketplace, Rebecca helped build the company from inception to supporting thousands of intended parents globally. Beyond building brand, partnerships, and traction, she brought in key executive hires including the Chief Commercial Officer and partnered directly with Board Advisors on company strategy. She launched innovative services such as a Concierge offering that significantly increased conversion and customer satisfaction, directly supporting fundraising and long term positioning in the women’s health space.

At Daisy, a smart home services company, Rebecca joined as employee number twelve and built the People and Communications functions from the ground up. She supported hypergrowth from pre launch to more than 300 employees across over twenty branches, designing compliant infrastructure, talent acquisition strategies, and scalable communications systems. Her leadership enabled rapid hiring, high retention, and seamless integration of acquisitions and franchise expansion, positioning Daisy as a modern, people first organization.

Today, Rebecca serves as a Board Advisor, fractional executive, and strategic consultant to founders and growth stage companies. She is uniquely positioned to advise organizations across multiple phases of scale. For early stage companies, she helps define brand, sharpen positioning, and drive traction through clear marketing and communications strategy. As companies mature and require more formalized people operations, compliance frameworks, executive hiring, and culture development, she brings integrated expertise across both marketing and HR, offering a rare combination of capabilities that support long term sustainable growth.

Her community involvement reflects the same commitment to impact. Rebecca is active with Chief, Women Applying AI, Ceresa, Grateful Giving, and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She is also a proud mentor with American Corporate Partners, supporting veterans and military spouses as they transition into civilian careers. These roles underscore her belief that leadership extends beyond the workplace and into service.

Grounded in transparency, curiosity, and aligned execution, Rebecca believes that strong brands and strong cultures are built together. Whether guiding a startup through early traction or advising a scaling company through operational complexity, she brings a steady, strategic, and deeply human perspective that accelerates performance while strengthening resilience for the long run.

Rebecca exemplifies integrity and empathy in every leadership environment she enters, consistently prioritizing people and purpose in her decision-making. She cultivates trust through transparency and reliability, enabling teams to thrive even in fast-moving or ambiguous settings. Her genuine dedication to supporting others elevates both individual careers and organizational cultures.

Knowledge:
She brings expansive expertise in people operations, marketing strategy, organizational design, and AI-enabled transformation. She pairs hands-on operational experience with a strategic mindset, allowing her to anticipate challenges and design systems that scale with intention. Her ability to synthesize insights across industries makes her a highly adaptable and forward-thinking advisor.

Strategic:
Rebecca approaches every challenge with a systems-oriented lens, aligning people, process, and communication to accelerate growth and stability. She has repeatedly guided companies through scale, acquisition, and transformation with clarity and precision. Her strategic influence strengthens both executive alignment and long-term business performance.
