Randy’s contributions to education are equally impressive. As Associate Dean of Business at Stevens-Henager College, he managed the growth of the online division from 600 to over 5,000 students within three years, while increasing faculty from 10 to 130. His teaching portfolio spans business strategy, organizational behavior, finance, and executive development. Randy has further shared his expertise as a subject matter expert for MBA programs at Western Governors University, contributing to graduate-level course development in finance, economics, operations and supply chain management, and strategic management.

A published author, Randy created the “Curriculum Technologies Professional Development Series,” which includes Business Basics and Externship Excellence. Business Basics guides readers through the fundamentals of launching and sustaining a business, while Externship Excellence offers a roadmap for students to convert externship opportunities into career foundations. He was published in Naval Aviation News for his award winning contribution to corrosion control on aircraft at sea. His publications reflect his commitment to empowering others through accessible, practical insights.

Beyond his professional roles, Randy is an avid adventurer and “Chief Explorer and Fun Seeker.” He has participated in multiple Century bike rides, and triathlons. He built and flew his own airplane for an aerial photography business he created. He uses these adventures to pass on life skills to his grandchildren, demonstrating his values of freedom, independence, and family legacy. Randy’s personal mission to inspire a sense of the value of life-long learning for others. By underscoring his dedication to community and personal fulfillment, he seeks to encourage the value of discovery and appreciation of  the magnificence that is America.

Randy’s qualifications are supported by an MBA in Behavioral Finance from the University of Phoenix, along with post-graduate coursework in Military Joint Operations Planning and Strategy at the Naval War College. His academic achievements, including high GPAs and a research thesis on the psychology of stock performance expectations, highlight his lifelong commitment to learning and intellectual rigor.
