“Creating Efficiency. Delivering Quality. Inspiring Innovation.”

Ralph S. Novak stands as a seasoned operations and engineering executive with more than 45 years of experience transforming manufacturing and supply chain environments in the cosmetics, biomedical device, and consumer care product industries. Known for his rare blend of technical mastery, executive foresight, and people-centered leadership, Ralph has not only helped companies scale infrastructure and operations globally but has also cultivated high-performing teams that embody resilience, accountability, and a shared pursuit of excellence. His career, spanning renowned organizations like Mary Kay, Fruit of the Earth, and Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp, is a testament to continuous growth, problem-solving ingenuity, and a deep commitment to delivering safe, effective, and innovative products to market.

Ralph’s executive journey began with a foundational degree in Food Science and Food Engineering from The Ohio State University, where he developed the rigorous scientific thinking and process orientation that would define his later career. Eager to deepen his business acumen, Ralph earned his MBA in Business Management from The University of Dallas, graduating with honors. These academic achievements laid the groundwork for a career that would seamlessly bridge technical expertise and strategic operational leadership.

His most transformative years were spent at Mary Kay Inc., where Ralph dedicated 29 years across escalating leadership roles, from Project Engineer to Director of Operations and Director of Supply Chain and Contract Manufacturing. At Mary Kay, he managed large-scale capital projects including equipment procurement and plant expansions, such as the design and implementation of a new facility in China and enhancements to existing operations in Europe and Dallas. His tenure was marked by his ability to not only engineer systems but also build cohesive, high-performance teams aligned with global growth objectives.

Ralph’s international experience adds a global dimension to his expertise. His hands-on work setting up operations in Switzerland, China, South Korea, Brazil, and Latin America provided invaluable insights into navigating complex regulatory, logistical, and cultural landscapes. This global exposure informs his nuanced perspective on supply chain dynamics and manufacturing best practices, making him a rare asset in today’s increasingly interconnected business world.

Following his time at Mary Kay, Ralph joined Fruit of the Earth in Grand Prairie, Texas, as Director of Operations. There, he oversaw production, engineering, warehouse, and maintenance functions with a focus on efficiency, GMP compliance, and strategic process improvements. His tenure was marked by the seamless coordination of cross-functional teams and the introduction of operational frameworks that significantly enhanced performance metrics.

As Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp, Ralph undertook one of the most ambitious projects of his career: the design, construction, and startup of a 320,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility. His end-to-end responsibility for this initiative exemplified his ability to deliver on large-scale capital improvements while maintaining a relentless focus on safety, quality, and time-to-market. His project presentations to C-level stakeholders not only demonstrated his technical command but also highlighted his clear and persuasive communication skills.

In 2020, Ralph transitioned into consulting through RSN Consulting LLC, where he advises companies in the cosmetic and biomedical device sectors. His work involves everything from strategic operations guidance to hands-on engineering consulting, allowing businesses to benefit from his four decades of accumulated wisdom without the overhead of full-time executive staffing. Open to interim and advisory roles, Ralph seeks opportunities where he can make a meaningful difference, particularly in innovation-driven and purpose-led organizations.

Ralph’s professional values reflect his personal journey. A passionate advocate for continuous improvement—both professionally and personally—he is also committed to supporting individuals recovering from addiction, drawing from his own experience. This value of giving back is reflected not only in his approach to mentorship and leadership but also in his desire to reengage with the business world in a way that fosters purpose, connection, and growth.

When not immersed in process optimization or advising on capital projects, Ralph enjoys fishing and nurturing his side business involving vintage audio products. These personal passions speak to his appreciation for craftsmanship, detail, and timeless quality—traits that are mirrored in his professional life.

Today, Ralph Novak is actively exploring board and advisory opportunities where he can channel his expertise in product development, engineering, supply chain, and operations into impactful organizational outcomes. With no limitations on industry verticals, company size, or geography—apart from a preference not to relocate full-time—Ralph remains a flexible, driven, and immensely capable executive ready to bring leadership and insight to forward-thinking organizations.
