    Patrice Sebastian, CPA/CFF/PFS, CVA, CFP®, is a seasoned financial expert with over 25 years of experience in forensic accounting, business valuations, and financial planning.     Currently, Patrice is self-employed as a forensic and valuation consultant.  

    Previously, Patrice served as Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Forensic & Valuation Services at Family Legacy, Inc., a premier advisory firm based in Greenville, South Carolina. From 2016 to November, 2024, she played a  role in building and implementing robust compliance frameworks while overseeing forensic accounting and valuation services. 

    Before joining Family Legacy, Patrice spent over 15 years at WebsterRogers LLP, a leading South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm. As Director of the Forensic & Valuation Services Group, she provided management consulting, forensic accounting, and fraud examination services across a diverse range of industries. Her contributions were critical to the firm’s ability to deliver high-quality assurance, tax, and advisory services, earning her recognition as a key leader in the field.

    Patrice’s professional journey also includes impactful roles such as Group Accountant for Tax & Treasury at ESAB, Controller at Carolina Glass Contractors, Inc., and Assistant Controller at Staff Relief, Inc. These roles laid the foundation for her expertise in corporate financial management, budgeting, and compliance. Earlier in her career, Patrice worked as a paralegal at Birr & King, showcasing her versatility and analytical skills, which have been integral to her success.

    Educationally, Patrice holds an MBA from Francis Marion University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from the College of Charleston, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also completed Paralegal, studies at Broward College. Her professional credentials include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), underscoring her dedication to excellence and expertise in her field.
