“Where Strategy Meets Execution, Organizations Find Their Strength.”
Nick Eusepi is a seasoned financial executive whose career reflects a rare blend of technical mastery, strategic foresight, and the ability to build and elevate organizations from the ground up. Over nearly two decades, he has become a trusted leader in the energy, infrastructure, and private equity sectors—shaping companies at pivotal moments in their growth, guiding executive teams through complexity, and ensuring that financial discipline and organizational clarity remain at the heart of every major decision. His professional story is one defined not only by technical excellence, but by an unwavering commitment to integrity, accountability, and the belief that strong leadership is rooted in service.
Nick began his career in public accounting, a demanding environment that accelerated his development and exposed him to a broad spectrum of industries, business models, and regulatory landscapes. At Briggs & Veselka, one of Houston’s most respected mid-market accounting firms, he progressed into a Senior Audit Manager role where he oversaw engagements for a 250-person organization and served clients in industries ranging from real estate and retail to upstream oil and gas, LNG, manufacturing, maritime, and chemical operations. His early years were marked by an intense focus on audit rigor, financial reporting, international group audits, IT consulting, and navigating complex accounting challenges—skills that would later become foundational to his executive leadership style.
Recognized quickly for his leadership capability, Nick was entrusted with responsibility for multiple teams, served on the firm’s internal committees, and chaired both the technology & innovation committee and the mentoring committee. In these roles, he discovered his passion for organizational development and for helping people understand how their individual contributions connect to broader strategic objectives. His progression within public accounting led him to compete in a rigorous landscape of professional standards, regulatory scrutiny, and high-stakes decision-making—ultimately preparing him for the transition into corporate leadership.
Nick’s move into industry marked a turning point in his career. He joined Commonwealth LNG at a formative stage, becoming the strategic financial architect behind the company’s transformation from a conceptual start-up to an institutionally backed multi-entity enterprise. Serving first as Chief Financial Officer and later as Senior Vice President of Accounting & Administration, Nick built the finance, accounting, treasury, HR, IT, and insurance functions from the ground up. He played a central role in raising over $130 million in development funding and led the diligence, strategy, and execution of a landmark $100M+ transaction that resulted in the successful sale of the company to private equity.
As the company evolved, so did Nick’s responsibilities. Post-sale, he was retained by the new ownership to help institutionalize the platform and guide the organization through the systems, controls, and scalable processes required for the next phase of growth. His ability to operate seamlessly between macro-level strategy and micro-level execution made him indispensable in aligning stakeholders, optimizing reporting, and strengthening governance frameworks. Whether navigating negotiations, leading integrations, or advising the board, Nick became known for his balanced judgment, calm under pressure, and capacity to deliver clarity in environments that demand precision.
Beyond his executive roles, Nick has consistently demonstrated a commitment to service and community. He has served as Treasurer for the Paul J. Varello Foundation and previously held the same role for the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition. In these roles, he provided board-level oversight on financial condition, compliance, budgeting, tax filings, and risk management—ensuring that mission-driven organizations maintained the stewardship necessary to scale their impact. His leadership in the nonprofit sector mirrors his corporate approach: thoughtful, disciplined, and deeply focused on aligning resources with strategic purpose.
In addition to his corporate and board work, Nick is an entrepreneur at heart. As Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Three Management, a private equity firm focused on real estate investment, he continues to apply his expertise in capital strategy, financial modeling, and investor relations to build diversified portfolios for both private and institutional investors. His experience spans capital raising, project finance, alternative investments, due diligence, and operational oversight—extending his influence across yet another dynamic sector.
Throughout his career, Nick has embraced continuous learning as a defining principle. He has earned advanced credentials including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). His educational foundation includes both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Sam Houston State University, where his academic distinction foreshadowed the professional discipline he would later bring to executive leadership. He remains committed to professional development through ongoing industry training, leadership coursework, and thought leadership engagements.
Nick’s work has earned him recognition across the financial and energy sectors, including being named one of the Top 100 People in Finance by The Top 100 Magazine. He has spoken at numerous industry events, including energy conferences and insurance panels, where he brings a pragmatic, experience-based perspective on organizational growth, risk management, capital strategy, and scaling infrastructure businesses. His communication style—clear, direct, and grounded in expertise—has made him a trusted voice among executives, boards, investors, and emerging leaders.
Outside of his professional commitments, Nick is a husband, father, and lifelong learner who values fitness, sports, personal finance, cars, and the joy of building meaningful connections. He believes that effective leadership begins with character, and that the best executives combine humility with conviction, strategy with compassion, and results with responsibility. Whether advising a boardroom, leading a team, or mentoring the next generation, Nick brings a genuine desire to elevate people and strengthen the organizations he serves.
