“Always act in a way that recognizes and honors the humanity in others.”
Nadine Jones is a dynamic and forward-thinking legal executive whose career is defined not only by exceptional legal expertise, but also by an unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and the people behind the policies. With over two decades of legal leadership spanning multinational logistics, corporate compliance, and nonprofit advocacy, she brings to every role a rare combination of legal rigor and human-centered vision. Her journey from Canadian Court Registrar to the C-suites of global corporations is one of intentionality, integrity, and influence.
After graduating cum laude from Howard University School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Howard Law Journal, Nadine began her legal career at the prestigious law firm Arnold & Porter LLP. There, she specialized in antitrust litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory strategy. Her early work included successfully arguing a pro bono criminal appeal before the Maryland Court of Appeals—an experience that honed her advocacy skills and grounded her in the real-life impact of the law. She went on to serve as Counsel for the Congressionally-mandated Antitrust Modernization Commission, where she helped shape policy frameworks at the national level.
Nadine’s private practice and policy experience set the stage for her most transformative work—in-house. She joined Kuehne + Nagel Inc., one of the world’s leading logistics providers, and rose through the ranks to become General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Senior Vice President for the North American Region. There, she managed complex litigation, led M&A initiatives, advised on global trade compliance, and built out a robust legal and compliance team. Her work directly influenced policy change, risk mitigation, and multimillion-dollar reductions in liability exposures. Her ability to translate complex legal frameworks into business-aligned strategies earned her a seat on the company’s Board and a reputation as a trusted advisor to the C-suite.
In her time at Kuehne + Nagel, Nadine also spearheaded compliance and ethics programming across North America, creating tailored training modules and leveraging technology to identify and address emerging compliance gaps. She was known not just for her sharp intellect, but also for her empathetic approach to leadership—one that saw legal compliance as intrinsically tied to employee engagement and ethical culture. Her innovative compliance programs received recognition across the logistics industry and became models for international adaptation.
As a woman of color in a high-level legal role, Nadine consistently brought a diverse perspective to boardroom meetings. She used her platform to amplify voices and advocate for inclusive practices—not as an abstract ideal, but as a measurable, accountable corporate objective. Her dedication to creating an inclusive culture so that all employees felt safe enough to allow their brilliance to shine was not only reflected in her policies but also in her lived values. This passion found further expression in her co-founding of The Initiative: Advancing the Blue & Black Partnership, a nonprofit aimed at rebuilding trust between law enforcement and communities of color. Serving as Executive Director, she led the strategic rollout, public engagement, and operational development of the organization.
In 2023, Nadine was honored with the prestigious Exemplar Award by the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) for her work bridging community and corporate spaces. She also appeared in national media—on NPR, NBC, Fox 5, and WJLA—to speak on issues ranging from community policing to corporate accountability. Her voice has become a vital one in discussions at the intersection of law, society, and leadership.
Today, as the founder of General Counsel Support Services, Nadine offers executive-level legal consulting to companies navigating regulatory change, legal overflow, and corporate transformation. Her clients benefit not only from her deep knowledge of trade controls, antitrust, and employment law, but from her ability to embed risk frameworks into company culture without losing business agility. Whether she is reviewing complex contracts or advising on how executive orders may impact DEI policies, Nadine’s focus remains steady: clarity, compliance, and compassion.
A recognized thought leader, Nadine has authored numerous articles, including “Antitrust and Anti-DEI” and “Core Beliefs,” published on Substack and was featured in Reuters Practical Law Journal. As an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School, she taught antitrust compliance with a blend of analytical precision and practical insight. She is also a sought-after speaker on governance, policy risk, and ethical leadership, known for her powerful narrative voice and actionable guidance.
Beyond her legal acumen, Nadine is deeply rooted in community. She is a mother to both her human son and a fur-baby, a sketch artist, a churchgoer, and a person of deep moral conviction. Her ability to humanize systems, motivate teams, and lead with emotional intelligence is perhaps her most distinguishing trait. In every setting—from law firm to boardroom, classroom to community she leads with a spirit of purpose and an eye toward equity.
