Prior to Scout Motors, Marcus spent more than four years at Rivian Automotive, where he rose from Senior Manager to Director of Closures Mechanisms. During his tenure, he led teams responsible for critical systems including latches, power actuators, window regulators, charge port doors, tailgate systems, and unique commercial delivery van closure technologies.
At Rivian, Marcus became known as one of the organization’s leading technical experts in mechanisms engineering. He directed the development of advanced closure systems for the company’s R1T, R1S, and Amazon delivery van platforms, helping deliver groundbreaking products under aggressive timelines.
