    Barton’s diverse educational background encompasses jazz vocal and piano studies at the Brooklyn Queens Conservatory of Music and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Statistics from Iowa State University.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics from The College of New Jersey, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the 1993 Seccor Alumni Award for best graduating mathematics student.  His leadership qualities shone through as the Vice President of Off Campus Student Affairs on the Student Government Executive Committee.
