By 1973, Ken had joined Intel at a pivotal time. As one of the earliest software engineers in the new microprocessor group, he played a critical role in the development of the company’s first software development ecosystem for the 8080 microprocessor. His leadership in building the ISIS-II operating system, a PL/M compiler, and integrated toolchain became a benchmark for microcomputer systems worldwide.
