Joseph currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer at Novacore, where he was recruited to lead an enterprise-wide cybersecurity transformation and modernize the company’s security architecture across cloud, data, and application environments. In this role, he serves as a primary security advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, connecting cyber risk with business growth, regulatory compliance, capital priorities, and enterprise resilience. Before joining Novacore, Joseph served as Chief Technology Officer at PerkinElmer, where he was appointed to lead technology separation and modernization during a private equity carve-out. He directed the creation of an independent, secure, cloud-first operating environment while maintaining business continuity and accelerating the company’s exit from Transitional Service Agreements. His leadership included establishing a Cloud-First and SaaS-First technology strategy, creating multi-year infrastructure and operations budgets, reorganizing a fragmented global IT organization, strengthening vendor governance, and implementing technologies including ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, and Zscaler.
Joseph’s career also includes more than nine years with McGraw-Hill Education, where he advanced through increasingly senior global infrastructure and operations leadership positions. As Vice President of Global IT Operations & Infrastructure, he led mission-critical SaaS environments across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC and oversaw cloud engineering, DevOps, international data centers, service reliability, automation, and 24/7 technology operations. His leadership included major AWS cloud transformation initiatives, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code adoption, CI/CD modernization, enterprise observability, crisis management, cloud financial optimization, and vendor governance.
Earlier in his tenure at McGraw-Hill Education, Joseph directed major infrastructure modernization efforts that migrated core data center applications to AWS and reduced the organization’s physical infrastructure footprint by 64%. He championed the implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, standardized incident, problem, change, knowledge, and financial management processes, and built integrated cloud monitoring and governance capabilities. His work helped strengthen operational resilience while creating greater transparency and discipline around enterprise technology performance.
Joseph previously held senior leadership responsibilities at EMC, where he helped design, launch, and operate next-generation enterprise data centers in Massachusetts and Dublin, Ireland. He built and scaled a multinational IT operations organization spanning the United States, Ireland, and India, growing the team from five to 26 professionals while managing a $5 million technology budget. The environments under his leadership supported managed services and enterprise workloads for major organizations including American Express, McGraw-Hill, Pearson, CVS, Pfizer, Citi Bank, and BMW.

He oversaw complex enterprise solutions across storage, mainframe, database, CRM, enterprise content management, midrange systems, and project management while ensuring strong delivery performance, architecture quality, staffing discipline, and customer satisfaction.
