Jeff’s career began in collegiate sports, where he served as Sports Information Director at Southwest Minnesota State University, University of Minnesota-Duluth, and Michigan Technological University. He went on to shape national narratives for youth and amateur sports through roles at USA Hockey and the Amateur Athletic Union, serving as Public Relations Director and Managing Editor for American Hockey Magazine and InfoAAU Magazine. His strategic storytelling elevated the visibility of youth programs and cemented his reputation as a leader in athletic communications.

During his tenure at the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), Jeff took on pivotal leadership as Associate Director of Marketing & Program Development and Executive Director of the Star of the North State Games and Minnesota Amateur Sports Foundation. His customer-first approach and analytical mindset generate $15–$20 million in annual sales, underscoring his ability to bridge operations with strategic revenue impact.

Outside his formal roles, Jeff has maintained a decades-long commitment to community service. He has been a key figure in the Osseo-Maple Grove youth athletics community—serving as a coach, board member, and internal campaign director for initiatives like Project ICE and OMGHA Spring Gala.
