“If You Can Dream It, You Can Make It Happen.”

Jason Bradshaw, PCS, is a global business development executive, protective coatings specialist, entrepreneur, author, and industry leader with more than 27 years of professional experience spanning industrial coatings, corrosion protection, infrastructure, construction, project management, technical sales, and executive leadership. Throughout his career, Jason has built a reputation for connecting technical expertise with commercial strategy, helping organizations strengthen market position, expand into new territories, improve customer relationships, and generate sustainable revenue growth. His professional mission is rooted in a commitment “to relentlessly build businesses, leaders, and a life of purpose that elevate others through integrity, innovation, and excellence while creating a legacy my family and colleagues will be proud to carry forward.”

Jason currently serves as Global Director of Business Development for ZRC Worldwide, where he helps shape global growth strategies and develop commercial opportunities across industrial and infrastructure markets. His responsibilities extend well beyond traditional sales leadership, encompassing market development, customer engagement, sales-force development, technical education, strategic partnerships, CRM strategy, and international relationship building. Through his work with engineers, contractors, asset owners, specifiers, distributors, and other key stakeholders, Jason has consistently demonstrated an ability to translate highly technical products and services into practical business value. His leadership philosophy emphasizes preparation, accountability, education, and long-term relationship development rather than transactional selling.

His career progression reflects an unusual breadth of experience across the entire lifecycle of industrial projects and business development. Before joining ZRC Worldwide, Jason held business development and asset protection responsibilities with Sherwin-Williams, supporting opportunities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other markets. He has also served in technical sales, project management, construction coordination, executive leadership, and consulting roles with organizations including Thorpe Specialty Services, Apache Industrial Services, BGE, Carboline, and AEI Engineering. Earlier in his career, his field and project responsibilities gave him firsthand experience working alongside engineers, inspectors, operators, contractors, municipalities, and facility owners—experience that continues to shape his practical approach to executive decision-making.

Jason’s leadership experience also includes entrepreneurship and company building. As Chief Executive Officer of K2 Contract Services, LLC, he managed business operations ranging from estimating and field execution to client relations, quality control, contract management, and strategic growth. Across his broader career, he has participated in building or developing approximately five businesses and has helped organizations achieve multimillion-dollar revenue growth, including increases of approximately $4 million to $6 million in certain leadership positions. These experiences have given him a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by growing companies, particularly the need to balance aggressive commercial expansion with operational discipline, financial accountability, customer satisfaction, employee development, and risk management.

At the center of Jason’s professional identity is his expertise in protective coatings, corrosion control, and asset preservation. He holds the prestigious Protective Coatings Specialist credential through AMPP, formerly NACE, representing one of the industry’s most advanced professional qualifications in coatings technology, specification, inspection, failure analysis, and corrosion protection. His technical background also includes senior coating inspection credentials, industry safety training, inspection programs, coatings specification development, quality assurance and quality control, technical drawing interpretation, project estimating, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance. This combination of commercial leadership and technical credibility enables him to communicate effectively with everyone from senior executives and business owners to engineers, inspectors, applicators, contractors, and field personnel.

Jason’s industry exposure is exceptionally broad. Over the course of his career, he has worked across oil and gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater, energy generation, pipelines, LNG, aviation, subsea environments, offshore platforms, wind generation, EV battery facilities, municipal infrastructure, fabrication, OEM manufacturing, commercial structures, transportation infrastructure, and high-performance industrial coatings. His project experience has included offshore drilling platforms, municipal water storage systems, wastewater rehabilitation, wind-generation assets, aviation applications, crude-oil and terminal tanks, refinery environments, high-temperature coatings, fireproofing systems, pipelines, and major energy facilities. This diversity allows him to evaluate business opportunities through a multidisciplinary lens and understand how technical, operational, financial, and customer priorities intersect.

His professional reach is equally international. Jason has supported business development activities and industry relationships across North America while also gaining exposure to markets including Japan, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, and South Africa. Working across cultures and market environments has strengthened his ability to identify opportunities, establish trust, navigate complex stakeholder relationships, and adapt commercial strategies to regional requirements. Whether working with multinational organizations or emerging businesses, Jason brings an entrepreneurial perspective that encourages organizations to think beyond existing boundaries and pursue opportunities grounded in both market intelligence and operational capability.

Communication and education have played a defining role in Jason’s career. For more than two decades, he has delivered hundreds of technical, sales, educational, and industry presentations throughout the United States and Canada, helping audiences understand complex coatings technologies, corrosion challenges, project requirements, and commercial opportunities. His ability to communicate technical information in an accessible and persuasive manner has made him an effective trainer, presenter, business developer, and relationship builder. He has frequently represented organizations at industry conferences, customer meetings, technical seminars, trade events, and project discussions, using education as a platform for strengthening credibility and building durable professional relationships.

Jason is also an accomplished writer whose intellectual interests extend beyond his technical career. He has written three published novels in addition to multiple papers addressing professional, technical, and ethical subjects. Writing has allowed him to explore leadership, values, ideas, and human behavior from perspectives that complement his business career. His professional achievements and broader contributions were further recognized through his designation as an Honored Listee of Marquis Who’s Who, issued in May 2025. This recognition reflects a career characterized not only by technical accomplishment and commercial leadership, but also by continued professional development, communication, and contribution to his field.

Industry involvement has remained an important component of Jason’s professional development. He maintains affiliations with organizations connected to coatings, corrosion, water infrastructure, and professional education, including AMPP, the American Water Works Association, the Association of Water Board Directors, the Water Environment Association of Texas, the Texas Desalination Association, the Coastal Bend Coating Society, and the Houston Coating Society. Through professional associations, committees, industry groups, and advisory participation, he remains connected to emerging technologies, changing standards, infrastructure priorities, and industry challenges. His experience serving on committees, surveys, and boards has also reinforced his interest in governance and advisory work.

Jason views board and advisory service as a natural extension of his career. Having worked across sales, operations, project management, technical services, entrepreneurship, construction, consulting, marketing, and executive business development, he brings a broad operating perspective to organizations seeking experienced external guidance. He is particularly passionate about helping smaller and growth-stage businesses protect what they have built while identifying opportunities for disciplined expansion. He appreciates that effective board service requires more than industry knowledge; it requires thoughtful questioning, strategic perspective, financial awareness, responsible governance, and a willingness to challenge assumptions while supporting leadership teams.

His approach to leadership is grounded in integrity, innovation, excellence, and the belief that business success should create value for people as well as organizations. Jason is passionate about developing businesses and leaders, sharing knowledge, and helping people recognize possibilities that may initially appear out of reach. His personal motto, “If you can dream it, you can make it happen,” reflects an optimistic but disciplined philosophy developed through decades of building relationships, solving complex problems, entering new markets, leading teams, and navigating changing economic conditions. He believes ambition becomes meaningful when it is paired with preparation, accountability, perseverance, and a clear sense of purpose.

Outside his professional responsibilities, Jason values experiences that challenge him physically and intellectually. His interests include hiking, offshore fishing, scuba diving, snowboarding, race car driving, and fitness. He has also supported charitable organizations including Waves For Water and the Lone Survivor Foundation, reflecting a broader interest in service and community involvement. Whether in business, professional associations, charitable work, or personal pursuits, Jason approaches life with curiosity, energy, and a desire to continue learning.

Looking ahead, Jason seeks opportunities where his combination of global business development experience, coatings expertise, entrepreneurial leadership, technical knowledge, and strategic perspective can contribute to meaningful organizational growth. He is especially well positioned to serve companies operating in industrial coatings, corrosion protection, manufacturing, infrastructure, water and wastewater, energy, oil and gas, construction, engineering, industrial services, and adjacent markets. His career demonstrates an ability to move comfortably between the boardroom, customer meeting, engineering discussion, construction site, and conference stage—giving him a rare ability to understand both strategy and execution. Ultimately, Jason’s professional legacy is defined by his desire to build enduring businesses, stronger leaders, lasting relationships, and organizations capable of creating value far beyond a single transaction or project.
