Jan Hall is a globally seasoned senior executive whose career spans more than 25 years across consumer packaged goods, health and wellness, food and beverage, personal care, digital media, and emerging agri-tech. Known for her powerful blend of strategic vision, operational rigor, and people-first leadership, Hall has built and led high-performing organizations within some of the world’s most influential corporations—including Johnson & Johnson, The Coca-Cola Company, GlaxoSmithKline, and Cadbury Schweppes—while also driving transformational growth for entrepreneurial, private equity-backed, and early-stage companies. Her executive journey reflects a rare combination of global brand stewardship, innovation leadership, board governance expertise, and an unwavering commitment to building businesses that are both profitable and purposeful.

Raised in the United Kingdom and educated at Leeds University, Hall began her career in sales and marketing at United Biscuits before advancing into progressively senior leadership positions at Cadbury Schweppes. She would ultimately earn recognition as “Marketer of the Year” for her breakthrough work on the Ribena and Lucozade brands—an early indication of her ability to unlock growth by deeply understanding consumer behavior and category dynamics. These formative years built the foundation for her future leadership across multinational markets and became the launching pad for her ascent into global C-suite roles.

Hall’s success accelerated at SmithKline Beecham, now GlaxoSmithKline, where she spent nearly a decade leading major over-the-counter healthcare categories. Her leadership was instrumental in the landmark Rx-to-OTC switch of Tagamet in the UK, for which she received the prestigious Chairman’s Award for Excellence. Her revitalization of legacy brands such as Tums, Solpadeine and Oxy demonstrated her ability not only to expand market share but also to reposition established portfolios for modern consumers. These accomplishments established her reputation as a transformational operator able to blend regulatory insight, innovation, and commercial strategy.

With a proven track record of brand reinvention and category growth, Hall was recruited by The Coca-Cola Company, where she advanced into a series of senior executive roles across the UK and North America. As Senior Vice President & General Manager of Consumer Marketing for Coca-Cola North America, she led a 270-person marketing organization with a $750 million annual budget. Her leadership fueled a six-quarter trend of consecutive growth and delivered the strongest business results the Division had achieved in years. She spearheaded the reintroduction of Fanta in North America, launched Dasani into a leading bottled water brand, and orchestrated award-winning campaigns that strengthened Coca-Cola’s cultural influence. Her work—which spanned innovation pipelines, global partnerships, local market execution, and brand portfolio transformation—cemented her position as one of the industry’s most dynamic marketing strategists.

Hall’s success at Coca-Cola led to her appointment as North America President of The Neutrogena Corporation, Johnson & Johnson’s second-largest global consumer operating company. Here, she held full P&L accountability for an $800 million business with 700 employees across Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D, Operations, Regulatory, QA, and HR. Under her leadership, Neutrogena added $300 million to revenue, gained record market share across all skincare categories and introduced groundbreaking innovations, including the company’s entry into cosmetic dermatology—a category extension that generated top-tier IRI “Pacesetter” new products. Hall’s leadership at Neutrogena showcased her ability to transform complex organizations, rebuild operational foundations, and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth.

After decades leading major global brands, Hall transitioned her expertise into entrepreneurial and private equity-backed businesses, beginning with the creation of her own consultancy, TrueLight. She then went on to lead companies including Designer Wellness, Mario Camacho Foods, and ultimately M2 Ingredients, where she served as CEO and Executive Board Director. At M2 Ingredients, she orchestrated a multi-year turnaround that delivered more than 300% revenue growth, advanced the company to breakeven profitability, achieved a double-AA BRC food safety certification, and positioned the Om brand as the fastest-growing functional mushroom supplement line in both the natural and grocery channels. Her leadership exemplified her ability to scale early-stage companies by combining operational excellence, consumer insight, and disciplined strategy.

Hall’s passion for purpose-driven businesses carried through to subsequent CEO and board roles. As President and CEO of Guardion Health Sciences (Nasdaq: GHSI), she led a science-backed health and wellness company toward renewed growth, outpacing category performance and strengthening its clinical credibility. She also served as an independent director for SideChef, Baby Gourmet Foods, Designer Wellness, Fieldless Farms, and medical biotech YD BIO Ltd. (Nasdaq: YDES), contributing expertise in governance, compensation, innovation, go-to-market strategy, and founder mentorship. Across more than 15 years of board service, she has represented both management and shareholders, chaired both the Board and committees, and supported organizations navigating growth capital, restructuring, governance transformation, and acquisition.

At her core, Hall believes that companies should operate as forces for good—balancing profitability with responsibility to consumers, communities, and the planet. Her leadership approach is grounded in mentorship, inclusivity, and strategic clarity, shaped by decades of experience across North America, Europe, Asia, and 300 global markets. She has earned industry recognition including finalist for San Diego Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO award and the NBJ Small Business Achievement Award.

Outside the boardroom, Hall’s personal values reflect her commitment to continuous growth and wellbeing. She is passionate about health and wellness, sustainability, and supporting founders who aspire to build meaningful companies. Her lifelong motto—“Anything is possible when it’s something you love doing”—captures the spirit with which she leads teams, empowers emerging leaders, and helps businesses navigate the complexities of modern markets.

Hall’s journey from UK-based brand manager to global CEO and multi-sector board director illustrates a career defined by courage, reinvention, and disciplined execution. She brings a distinctive ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership, enabling organizations to scale while preserving their core values. Today, she continues her work with early-stage founders, growth-oriented companies, and purpose-led boards that share her belief in innovation, integrity, and meaningful impact.

Throughout her extensive career, Hall has remained driven by an unwavering belief in the power of leadership to elevate businesses and people alike. Whether guiding a Fortune 500 portfolio, leading a digital-first meal planning platform, mentoring a biotech startup, or transforming a wellness brand into a category leader, she demonstrates a rare blend of analytical rigor, creative thinking, and human-centered decision-making.
