His career reflects an uncommon combination of technical excellence, leadership acumen, and a deep commitment to creating long-term value.
Born with an inquisitive mindset and a passion for understanding complex systems, Farhan’s professional journey began in engineering. After earning a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aston University in the United Kingdom, he started his career with General Electric in the UK as a Project Engineer. In this role, he worked on the design and implementation of industrial control systems and participated in turnkey projects throughout the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and the Middle East. These early experiences exposed him to international business environments and provided a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and operational execution.
Recognizing the growing influence of finance on global economic development, Farhan pursued an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the prestigious Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester. This educational transition marked the beginning of a remarkable career in investment management. His ability to combine engineering discipline with financial insight would become one of the defining characteristics of his leadership style and professional success.
Farhan’s ascent within the financial sector accelerated during his fifteen-year tenure with Citigroup’s Private Banking Group.
