    Jennifer E. Carinci is a distinguished executive with a rich background in strategic partnerships and extensive research experience spanning several decades.

    With over 20 years of non-profit leadership, Jennifer Carinci has emerged as a seasoned expert in launching national strategic and research initiatives aimed at enhancing stakeholder outcomes.     As the Executive Director of the Engineering Research Visioning Alliance (ERVA) at the University-Industry Demonstration Partnership (UIDP), Jennifer spearheaded an $8 million initiative funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Her leadership resulted in doubling expected events within the first award year, achieving high participant satisfaction rates, and expanding the network of affiliate partners and individual supporters.

    Prior to her role at ERVA, Jennifer served as a Program Director for STEM Education Research at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Here, she managed a diverse portfolio of projects totaling over $12 million – focusing on improving undergraduate STEM education, supporting evidence-based teacher preparation programs, and promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM fields.

    Jennifer’s expertise extends to accreditation and data analysis, having served as the Accreditation Director for Research and Engagement at the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). In this capacity, she led accreditation data analyses, managed research contracts, and represented the organization at national events.

    Jennifer’s academic journey includes a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also holds a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

    In addition to her professional achievements, Jennifer is actively involved in advisory committees and boards, contributing her expertise to organizations such as the Western Governors University Teachers College Education Program Council and Kid Power, Inc.
