Dale S. White brings nearly five decades of wide-ranging leadership across the financial services, insurance, and healthcare industries, underpinned by a life-long commitment to guiding individuals through their most personal and complex financial decisions. Based in Virginia Beach, Dale currently serves as the Manager and a leading Medicare Specialist at Integrity Insurance Services, LLC—a firm he co-founded in 2017. The agency, now staffed with 14 agents including two of Dale’s sons, stands as a trusted, independent resource for Medicare beneficiaries across the Tidewater region of Virginia.
A Norfolk native and Summa Cum Laude graduate of Old Dominion University (1976), Dale launched his career as a manager trainee at a Savings & Loan institution in Norfolk’s financial district. Quickly rising to middle management as the Savings Officer, he directed the Retirement Plans department and trained employees across the branch network. His early success caught the attention of E.F. Hutton, where he joined in 1979, eventually becoming a Hutton Portfolio Manager. Partnering with another top producer in the office, their team was recognized among the firm’s most successful nationwide.
In 1984, Dale was recruited by Prudential Bache to build out its Southeast division as a Regional Institutional Account Executive. He excelled in developing strategic relationships with financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate clients, helping generate billions of dollars in transactions. His momentum continued with Kidder Peabody before launching an entrepreneurial chapter in 1992: co-founding Southeast Mortgage Banking Corporation. As Treasurer/CFO, Dale oversaw banking and investor relationships, including warehouse lines of credit, growing the firm into Virginia’s largest independent mortgage banking company by 2000. Though a pending acquisition ultimately unraveled due to external circumstances, Dale’s leadership during rapid growth and high-stakes negotiations laid a foundation of resilience and vision.
Following this venture, Dale remained active as an independent financial advisor and mortgage broker before joining Humana in 2004 as part of its nationwide Medicare Specialist agent rollout. As a top producer in Virginia for the majority of his tenure, Dale provided expert support to clients navigating evolving Medicare choices. In 2012, Dale was recruited by his son, Richard White, after Richard had been promoted to branch manager at Ameriprise Financial in Virginia Beach. There, Dale supported the practice’s client needs while his son focused on expanding and managing the branch. During this period, Dale also earned two distinguished designations: Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA). After a fulfilling decade, Dale retired from Ameriprise in 2022.
Throughout his nearly 20 years as a Medicare agent, Dale has personally guided over two thousand individuals through the complexities of Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans. His independent status enables him to deliver truly client-centered, carrier-agnostic advice with empathy and precision. His tenure as a Financial Advisor—working closely with family and colleagues—underscores his generational vision for financial wellness and lasting impact.
Dale’s professional story is inseparable from his deep commitment to faith and service. A founding member and long-time elder at his church since its inception in 1981, Dale views his work as a calling rooted in transparency, integrity, and care. His dedication to others also extends into nonprofit leadership: he helped launch a national adoption agency branch in Virginia Beach in 1992 (serving on the board until 2020) and played a pivotal role in the establishment of a seminary in Greenville, SC, where he has served as a board member since 2000.
Family remains central to Dale’s life and legacy. Married to his high school sweetheart since 1976, he is a proud father of three sons and grandfather to seven. His personal and professional journeys reflect a consistent thread of stewardship, moral clarity, and intergenerational strength.
Now entering what he calls his “encore phase,” Dale is exploring new opportunities to mentor and support emerging entrepreneurs. With five to ten more years of vitality and purpose, he is eager to apply his rich experience, strategic insight, and lifelong values to help others launch, grow, and thrive in their own ventures.
