Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Chase brings over a decade of diverse and mission-driven experience that spans the military, municipal government, and public education sectors. His journey from Army officer to senior financial executive reflects a lifelong commitment to disciplined operations, service to others, and impactful financial stewardship.

Currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent of Business and Finance at Southlake Carroll Independent School District, Chase oversees the fiscal health of one of Texas’ top-rated public school districts. In this role, he steers business and finance strategy for 11 campuses serving 8,100 students and 1,100 employees. Within just a few months on the job, he has already contributed to maintaining Carroll ISD’s reputation for excellence, evidenced by its “A” TEA ratings across all campuses and its historic eighth Lonestar Cup win.

Before his leadership at Carroll ISD, Chase was the Director of Finance for Highland Park ISD for six years, guiding financial operations in a district known for its academic excellence and strong values in citizenship and service. There, he built a reputation for integrity, precision, and transparency in school finance—a reputation forged from years of auditing and operational roles that demanded accountability and ethical stewardship.

His time as a Distribution Platoon Leader and Battalion Operations Officer taught him the essence of team-first leadership, adaptability under pressure, and long-term strategic planning—lessons that continue to guide his decisions in boardrooms and budget meetings alike.

Chase’s educational background is equally impressive. He holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, complementing his accounting degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. A proud foreign exchange alumnus of Yonsei University in South Korea, he is also fluent in Korean, further enriching his global perspective and communication abilities.

In addition to his professional work, Chase is deeply engaged in community service and leadership development. He previously served as president of the Korean-American Professional Network (KAPN), a nonprofit organization supporting the professional growth of Korean-American leaders. He currently serves on the Advisory Council of St. Rita Catholic School, helping guide the institution’s strategic and financial priorities.
