Charles Hirsch is a results-driven senior technical program executive with over two decades of experience spanning the U.S. military and the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Workday, Charles is a trusted leader in the company’s AI/ML Inference organization. Charles’ leadership foundation was built during a distinguished career in the United States Navy, where he served in multiple high-impact roles including Deputy Director of Engineering & Planning at the Trident Refit Facility and Operations Director for strategic submarine operations. He was responsible for multi-phase, multi-year programs overseeing infrastructure modernization, operational readiness, and risk management—often managing teams of over 100 and programs valued in the hundreds of millions. His application of ADKAR and Kotter’s change management models earned national recognition, and his programmatic excellence resulted in accelerated timelines, reduced operational risk, and improved training outcomes.
Charles holds an MBA with an AI concentration (in progress) from the Jack Welch Management Institute, a Master’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
