Cassidy Garden is the esteemed owner of Manor House Construction and Engineering LLC, a company that has established itself in the realm of engineering consulting and construction cost estimating for an array of project types ranging from heavy, commercial to residential. Over the years, Cassidy has honed his skills in construction cost estimates, specializing in water resource aspects such as levees, dams, channels, engineered earthen embankments, reinforced concrete structures, as well as ecosystem friendly stream morphology, wetland restoration, and recreational features along with roads, piping, and bridge work. He has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in initial planning and layout of land development/infrastructure type projects particularly where soil, water, and concrete clash with nature and people trying to balance space and resources. In addition to his extensive industry knowledge, Cassidy is also a licensed civil engineer.
Before launching his own venture, Cassidy served as a cost engineering supervisor, planner, designer, and project manager in federal service. As a cost engineering supervisor, he was responsible for quality control of all cost estimates under his supervision ensuring quantity take-offs, unit cost derivation, production rate derivation, construction cost estimates, cost/schedule analyses, construction schedules, and summaries were performed correctly. As a project manager in federal service, Cassidy exhibited adept leadership skills by coordinating project management efforts and leading the execution of projects with blended federal and A/E contractors. During this time, he managed the project scope, schedule, budget, and developed initial concept plans and reports to be executed into final construction plans and specifications. Earlier in his career in federal service as a Civil Engineer, he developed plans and specifications, determined design criteria and assumptions, and coordinated design among other engineering disciplines. His broad experience spans across various areas within civil engineering including geotechnical, hydrology, hydraulics, structural, and construction.
