His tenure at Banco Popular Dominicano spanned more than a decade, during which he held key roles including Vice President of Procurement and Corporate Business Manager. In these positions, Carlos was entrusted with high-stakes responsibilities that included vendor negotiations, contract governance, budget oversight, and interdepartmental coordination. His leadership not only delivered measurable cost savings but also reinforced institutional resilience through strategic sourcing and risk management.

He is currently the secretary of the board of his family owned company Inversiones A y F, SAS; at the same time being an active board member for Reefcheck Dominican Republic as well as FUNDAPEC, where he supports nonprofit missions with the same diligence and strategic clarity that defined his corporate career.
