His extensive background spans cash management, investments, internal controls, audit and tax support, as well as interaction with regulators and auditors. Brad’s expertise also includes enhancing organizational effectiveness, ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and contributing to both short-term and long-term financial strategies across diverse sectors.

Brad’s career began at Mountain West Savings and Loan, where he served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer from 1980 to 1990. During this time, he managed the accounting, treasury, and finance functions, overseeing regulatory reporting, asset liability management, internal controls, variance analysis, strategic planning, investor relations, investments, cash management, and payroll. His leadership in these areas helped solidify the organization’s financial foundation.

His work ensured the bank’s regulatory compliance and solid financial reporting.

Brad has also contributed to projects as a Conversion Specialist II and Fraud Investigator with Harland Clarke, where he assisted clients in banking platform conversions, particularly with the BMO Bank acquisition of Bank of the West, and helped upgrade online banking systems for clients such as Columbia Bank and City National Bank. In addition, Brad’s expertise in fraud prevention and investigation proved invaluable in detecting fraudulent activities within financial institutions.

Most recently, Brad took on roles with Robert Half/PNC Bank in 2021-2023, performing outreach to PPP loan clients and assisting in the application process for loan forgiveness, as well as supporting the merger between BBVA and PNC Bank. He also led a team at Protiviti/Lendio, overseeing the review of Paycheck Protection Program loan applications, and handled fraud investigation tasks within the program.
