Earlier in his career, he spearheaded concurrent, multi-site capital improvement projects across major health institutions such as Woodhull Medical Center and Sea View Hospital, totaling more than $34 million in construction value. He also served as Engineering Manager on several high-profile New York City School Construction Authority projects, overseeing new school builds and the $500 million Queens Hospital Center Major Reconstruction Project—a transformational initiative involving a 542-bed acute care hospital and long-term care facilities.
