    Aaron Weiss, MBA, PMP, is an international program and project manager with over 30 years of leadership experience in defense, counter unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS), intelligence operations, and strategic planning. He oversaw intelligence analysis, technology integration, risk mitigation, and operational execution for cutting-edge security systems designed to protect national assets and personnel from evolving threats.

    Prior to this, Aaron led security transformation efforts as the Capitol Complex Security Program Manager for the Architect of the Capitol, where he was instrumental in launching a $300 million security modernization initiative at the U.S. Capitol. His ability to bridge the gap between strategy and execution ensured the successful coordination of security teams, critical infrastructure enhancements, and threat assessments, strengthening national security at one of the country’s most critical locations.

    Aaron also served as a technical security systems project manager at Xator Corporation, where he managed $18 million in security upgrades for the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and was the Pakistan account manager for technical security systems across multiple diplomatic facilities. His work focused on surveying, designing, installing, and maintaining high-tech security solutions that safeguarded U.S. interests in some of the world’s most volatile regions.

    Beyond his defense and security expertise, Aaron is a seasoned entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of GrüneStrasse Backpack Company, an international e-commerce business dedicated to sustainable, safety-enhanced commuting solutions. His Shellback Bike to Work backpack, successfully funded on Kickstarter, has gained traction in the North American, Australian, and UK markets. Aaron’s leadership in supply chain management, product innovation, and business strategy has positioned GrüneStrasse as a pioneer in the micromobility sector.

    Aaron also brings extensive experience in real estate investment and property management as the principal and owner of Weiss Properties, LLC, where he has successfully managed residential assets across Washington, DC, Michigan, and California for over two decades. His ability to optimize financial performance, oversee leasing operations, and implement strategic property improvements has made him a respected leader in the real estate sector.

    A former U.S. Marine Corps Attaché to Oman, Aaron served as a direct liaison to the Royal Navy of Oman and Royal Oman Police Coast Guard, advising on bilateral security cooperation, infrastructure development, and maritime defense operations. During his tenure, he led a $12 million military construction project, executed the first U.S. Embassy Noncombatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) Exercise since 2001, and streamlined diplomatic clearances for U.S. Naval vessels, significantly improving operational efficiency.

    As commanding officer of the 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, Aaron led a 300-person military unit, managing $24 million in assets and a $2.1 million budget. His ability to navigate complex defense strategies, drive operational readiness, and mentor high-performing teams was instrumental in advancing military preparedness and effectiveness.

    Aaron holds a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University, a Master of Science in Systems Management (MBA) from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Northwestern University. He is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified and holds a Remote Pilot License (14 CFR Part 107) from the Federal Aviation Administration. His professional affiliations include the Marine Corps Aviation Association and the Project Management Institute.
