With over 40 years of experience in IT and logistics—15 of those focused in healthcare IT and compliance—I’ve had the privilege of leading organizations through complex regulatory landscapes, from HIPAA and HITRUST to SOC2 and GDPR. As Operating Group Safety Director at Mortenson, he has successfully reduced incident rates, mentored large teams, and advised executive leadership while advancing industry-wide best practices. Known for aligning safety with business performance, Scott also contributes nationally through his leadership roles in the American Clean Power association, where he has chaired safety campaigns and influenced national standards.
