Throughout my 26-year career, I have had the opportunity to serve as an occupational therapist, healthcare leader, university educator, entrepreneur, dyslexia interventionist, advocate, and nonprofit board leader. Each experience has strengthened my belief in the importance of curiosity, collaboration, lifelong learning, and creating opportunities for people to achieve greater independence and success. As I look toward expanding my board and advisory service, I am excited to bring my experience across healthcare, education, literacy, entrepreneurship, and governance to organizations where I can contribute, continue learning, and help make a meaningful difference. With a Ph.D. in Nursing Science and an impressive career in pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital, Dr. Gautam combines clinical expertise with academic contributions. She’s a leader in promoting diversity, a mentor for future nurse practitioners, and an active member of professional organizations.
