I’m excited to share a deeper look at my professional journey in the life sciences industry, where I’ve had the opportunity to support scientific innovation and collaborate with incredible researchers, organizations, and industry leaders. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and advanced instrumentation, helping bring technologies to market that support discovery and improve outcomes. Here is my biography.

After more than three decades in biotechnology and immuno-oncology, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the discovery and development of several antibody therapeutics and innovative biologics programs. My career has taken me from academic research to leadership roles at companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Medarex, Takeda/Maverick Therapeutics, and 4D Molecular Therapeutics, where I’ve worked alongside talented teams to advance new therapies for patients. I’m excited to continue advising companies and exploring opportunities to contribute at the board level. Here is my biography.

Beckinam Nowatzke, MSc, RAC, is a global life sciences executive with 25+ years leading quality, regulatory, and continuous improvement across pharma, biotech, and medical devices. Known for scaling quality systems, authoring FDA submissions, and building cultures of innovation, she is now seeking board and advisory opportunities with organizations driving medical innovation, patient access, and regulatory excellence.

Jason Pesile is a seasoned finance executive with a strong track record of leadership in the life sciences industry, having held senior roles at multiple biotech companies including Vaxxinity, BeyondSpring Pharmaceuticals, and Progenics Pharmaceuticals. Known for his strategic financial oversight, Jason has led critical initiatives such as SEC reporting, audit and compliance, capital raising, and IPO readiness, while also serving as a key advisor on executive teams and to Boards of Directors. A Certified Public Accountant with degrees from Columbia Business School and The Wharton School, he combines technical expertise with mission-driven purpose, reflected in his volunteer service with Hands In 4 Youth and Scouting America. Jason brings a values-based approach to leadership that integrates operational excellence with long-term organizational impact.
