From my work as Superintendent of Hartford Public Schools to my current roles in consulting, board leadership, and higher education, I’ve been privileged to collaborate with incredible teams and communities to expand opportunity and drive meaningful change.

Dr. Ronald L. Watson is a dynamic executive and public servant with over three decades of experience leading strategic initiatives across government, defense, and technology sectors. A PhD in Systems Science and a former Maryland State Senator, he has built a career at the intersection of innovation, policy, and mission-driven leadership. From directing national security programs and spearheading education reform to advising on clean energy and emerging technologies, Dr. Watson brings a rare blend of technical depth, legislative acumen, and visionary insight to every role he serves.

After more than 40 years of working at the intersection of public health, disability advocacy, and behavioral research, I’m proud to share my professional biography.
