Would you like to up your game as a team leader? Looking for something to set you apart in helping your team achieve or even exceed their milestones?  Understanding how to tap into your subconscious super powers can be the key. Hypno-coaching gives you the tools to access and use more of your inner resources to overcome internal hurdles and propel you and your team to new heights. For years, many of the most successful people have used coaches to help guide them to bigger and better things. Hypno coaching is a new approach that goes even deeper to address potential issues you may not even be consciously aware of yet to catapult you to success at lightning speed.
Although many think of hypnosis as the funny stage shows that get people to do goofy things in front of a whole audience of strangers… or they may think of the darker side of hypnosis, like in some movies where it’s used to control people (think Jason Bourne) or make them do creepy things; in reality, hypnosis is simply defined as establishing communication directly with our subconscious, which is typically achieved by distracting, boring or confusing our conscious mind out of the way so it won’t resist the messaging. Truth is, the folks in those stage shows are at least open to doing goofy things in front of others, or they wouldn’t be on stage to begin with… and the only way hypnosis can get you to do something you wouldn’t normally be comfortable with is if additional tactics are used (e.g., drugs have been used along with hypnosis to train military assassins).
The reason accessing your subconscious is so important is because much of our behavior is driven by things in our subconscious. Think of it this way, anything you aren’t consciously (or intentionally) doing is being influenced by your subconscious. The subconscious applies past experiences, emotions, beliefs, and learned behaviors when guiding your reactions to things that come up in life. Sometimes we are aware of what is driving our behaviors and reactions but we aren’t sure how to change it, other times we aren’t even sure why we are acting a certain way, let alone having any idea of how to change it. As we get more familiar with our subconscious, not only can we change any unwanted behaviors or reactions, but we can create positive, productive behaviors that make it easier to achieve our full potential.
After years of experience working with clients in private hypnotherapy sessions through my business, Hypnotherapy by Jenny, and seeing the amazing transformations they were experiencing, what I realized was that a lot of the transformational work we were doing didn’t take a deep level of hypnosis at all, and sometimes even just using guided imagery techniques with an open mind and educating them on how the subconscious works took people a long way towards achieving the improvements they were looking for. So, I decided to re-brand my services to help reach a broader audience of people who might not be looking for ‘therapy’ but could benefit from tapping into the power of their subconscious mind to help them achieve new levels of success. That’s how the concept of hypno-coaching (for individuals) and hypno huddles (for groups) was born. The reason imagery techniques can be so powerful to the subconscious is because it doesn’t have direct access to the outside world, so imagery you create through description (i.e. painting a picture in the mind’s eye) can be just as believable as images it receives from the eyes. An example of an imagery technique that has been very successful for clients is the idea of passing a special magnet over their body and feeling that magnet draw out any unwanted emotional energy, then dumping that all onto a bonfire and watching it burn up until there’s nothing left. Clients have shared that they literally feel lighter after going through that process.
In my work with hypno coaching clients, I help them get more clarity about what is important to them and how that affects their professional performance, determine what powerful imagery tools will help them overcome any subconscious self-sabotage, as well as create custom hypnotic recordings to help condition their mind and reenforce the changes that are important to them. When you are setting goals or making plans for the future, consider adding hypno coaching to your plans to avoid unnecessary struggle. It can be that extra edge for both you and your team to confidently blast through milestones and stretch goals.
