T T Chen is a seasoned business executive with a distinguished career spanning over three decades, primarily in China and Asia. With an impressive track record of leadership and transformation, he has been instrumental in steering businesses through periods of change, including roles as board member, GM, interim GM, operating partner and executive coach.
He motivated his management team in building up Avery Dennison’s Material Business in China and ASEAN, and Office Supply Business in Asia during 1993 to 2005. .His additional extensive experience encompasses 14 interim GM/CEO roles in manufacturing and medical device companies over the past 18 years, with a focus on restructuring and transformation initiatives. Two of them were as interim Global CEO.
He also has 19 years of experience as operating partner for PE firms: CITIC Capital, EQT, Harbour Group, American Industrial Partners and others. 6 of the 14 interim GM assignments are for PE firms.
Chen’s executive coaching expertise is evidenced by his successful guidance of over 80 executives from multinational corporations in auto, electronics, pharmaceutical, farming and leisure industries. This coaching tenure spans 20 years and showcases his ability to mentor/motivate leaders across diverse industries.
He is Vice Chair of Manufacturers Business Council under American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. T T is also board member of Asia Transformation & Turnaround Association (ATTA).
