Ravi Kaushik is a globally recognized healthcare and technology executive whose career spans more than three decades and crosses every major region of the world. From the earliest days of his professional journey, Ravi has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to blending innovation, compassion, and strategic clarity to improve patient outcomes and elevate the organizations he serves. His path reflects the rare combination of engineering rigor, entrepreneurial creativity, and human-centered leadership that continues to define his impact on the medical device, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and digital health sectors.

Growing up in India and beginning his career in engineering and technical sales, Ravi quickly realized that his strengths extended beyond the technical realm. He possessed a natural ability to bridge cultures, align diverse stakeholders, and translate complex technologies into meaningful value for customers and patients. This foundation propelled him from national roles into global responsibilities, where he began shaping market strategies, leading product innovations, and developing new business models across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Ravi’s transition into leadership roles with multinational healthcare companies marked the beginning of a trajectory defined by transformation. At GE Healthcare, he was a central force in driving disruptive innovation in maternal and infant care, developing technologies designed specifically for emerging markets and scaling them internationally. His work not only strengthened global product portfolios but also helped reduce infant mortality by delivering more accessible, high-quality clinical solutions to underserved regions. This period reinforced his belief that innovation must begin with empathy and that sustainable growth is rooted in purpose-driven thinking.

As he moved into senior leadership positions with Baxter, Baxalta, and later Medtronic, Ravi expanded his influence both functionally and geographically. He led strategy, innovation, and business development across Asia and Oceania, overseeing initiatives that reshaped commercial models, enhanced cross-functional collaboration, and accelerated market access. Notably, he pioneered several patient-centric business models and holistic healthcare ecosystems that improved diagnostics, treatment journeys, and long-term disease management for thousands of individuals. His work became a defining example of how global healthcare organizations can innovate authentically in emerging markets without compromising quality, ethics, or clinical rigor.

Ravi’s tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Transasia Bio-Medicals, India’s largest in vitro diagnostics company, further demonstrated his capacity to lead transformational change at scale. With full P&L responsibility and oversight of sales, marketing, finance, HR, compliance, manufacturing, and R&D, he implemented strategic processes that elevated organizational performance during some of the most volatile years in modern healthcare. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its market position, expanded its product pipeline, and reinforced quality and operational excellence across global functions. His leadership during the pandemic earned him national recognition as one of India’s Top 20 Impactful Healthcare Leaders.

Upon joining Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Ravi extended his influence to the forefront of device-digital integration and therapy ecosystem innovation. As Vice President and Global Head of Device & Digital Innovation and Product Strategy for Plasma-Derived Therapies, he unified teams across marketing, medical, clinical, R&D, regulatory, patient services, and technology to build a medtech-innovation engine within the organization. His leadership accelerated Takeda’s shift from delivering prescription therapies to delivering holistic, digitally enabled patient care solutions. Through this work, Ravi championed global standards of care that leveraged data, connectivity, and human insight—ultimately improving safety, experience, and outcomes for patients worldwide.

Throughout his career, Ravi has remained committed to developing people and fostering inclusive environments where collaboration and creativity thrive. His leadership style—rooted in emotional intelligence, strategic clarity, and authentic curiosity—has enabled him to guide large teams, navigate complex global ecosystems, and inspire innovation across borders. He is known for building cultures of trust and accountability, encouraging new ideas, and mentoring emerging leaders who now occupy critical roles in the healthcare industry.

Ravi’s professional influence extends beyond corporate leadership. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, invited to speak at global forums such as the World Federation of Hemophilia Congress, and has served as a Board Member for MassMEDIC. Fluent in multiple languages and deeply experienced in multicultural environments, he brings a global citizen mindset to every endeavor. His personal passions—outdoor exploration, reading, swimming, yoga, meditation, and the practice of mindfulness—reflect a balanced and grounded worldview that he carries into his work.

What ultimately defines Ravi is his belief in service, purpose, and the power of innovation to change lives. He approaches every challenge with the perspective of an engineer, the creativity of an entrepreneur, and the compassion of a global healthcare leader. Today, he continues to seek opportunities to bring his experience to organizations seeking transformative growth, international expansion, or next-generation innovation in healthcare.
