Currently serving as the district coordinator for Anderson School District 4, Philisa leads initiatives that enhance student success, teacher development, and academic programming. She oversees career readiness programs, instructional coaching, and online learning platforms, ensuring that students receive the guidance, resources, and support needed to thrive. She also plays a pivotal role in mentorship, crisis intervention, and professional development, shaping the future of education through her expertise and visionary leadership.

Beyond the classroom, Philisa is an influential voice in nonprofit leadership. She has served on the boards of America to Zambia Educational Nonprofit and the Clemson Area African American Museum, dedicating her time to initiatives that promote social justice, cultural awareness, and global education.
