Paul Chen is a healthcare AI founder and technology executive with more than twenty five years of experience developing advanced software, scalable infrastructure, and regulated medical technologies. Known for bridging deep engineering expertise with entrepreneurial leadership, he has built and scaled innovative technology companies across healthcare AI, cloud computing, wearable devices, and enterprise systems. His work focuses on transforming complex physiological data into predictive intelligence that enables more proactive and personalized healthcare.
Paul is the Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Neumetry Medical Inc., a digital health company focused on building waveform based AI platforms for longitudinal healthcare monitoring. Under his leadership, the company developed and achieved FDA 510(k) clearance for Sleep AI Software as a Medical Device in just fifteen months, demonstrating both technical rigor and disciplined execution. The platform converts continuous physiological signals into clinically actionable insights designed to support predictive care and value based healthcare models.
At Neumetry Medical, Paul also led the development of a full stack wearable health technology ecosystem, including sensors, firmware, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity architecture. By integrating these technologies into a unified platform, he established a scalable framework for remote patient monitoring and patient specific baseline modeling that enables early detection of health changes over time.
Prior to Neumetry, Paul served as Chief Executive Officer of Cafari Inc., where he led the development of AI powered consumer hardware integrating computer vision and edge intelligence. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Csky Technology, building large scale cloud infrastructure and distributed data systems capable of supporting enterprise workloads.
Paul also co founded and served as CEO of NewiTV Systems Inc., an international media technology company operating across the United States, Japan, and China. Under his leadership, the company scaled from startup to profitability while delivering digital media platforms to enterprise clients including MLB.com and MSG Network.
Earlier in his career, Paul held senior engineering roles designing enterprise cybersecurity and infrastructure systems for global financial institutions including UBS, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, and Dow Jones. His work focused on secure network architecture, distributed infrastructure transformation, and mission critical systems.
Paul holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the City College of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Solid Mechanics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
