As the Chief Executive Officer of OCEANSTAR Maritime Private Limited since 2019, Manoj has been instrumental in elevating industry standards, spearheading sustainable solutions, and positioning the company as a leader in the global maritime landscape.
Manoj’s career is rooted in a deep technical foundation, gained through 14 years as a Marine Engineer with Anglo-Eastern, where he specialized in advanced engine technologies, including Sulzer RT Flex and MAN B&W ME engines. His expertise spans vessel takeovers, sea trials, and the implementation of critical systems like the Ballast Water Management Plan and Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan. Additionally, his proficiency in high-voltage ship operations and retrofitting underscores his technical authority.
Beyond engineering, Manoj has also excelled as a Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS), conducting condition surveys, risk assessments, and voyage approvals, demonstrating his comprehensive understanding of maritime safety and compliance. His contributions to subsea construction in the offshore industry further enrich his diverse portfolio of technical and managerial expertise.
Before embarking on his maritime career, Manoj gained invaluable experience in the construction sector as an Estimation Engineer and Assistant Engineer at Aban Constructions Pvt Ltd., where he managed refinery construction and large-scale industrial projects.
