Earlier in her career, Kathryn was the Communications Services Manager and Principal of Corporate Citizenship at NiSource, Inc. in Merrillville, IN. She played a critical role in educating employees and customers on energy-related issues, resolving critical issues, and managing corporate grants. Her career in broadcasting began at WBBM-FM (CBS Inc.) in Chicago, IL, where she was the Director of Public Affairs, creating programming that addressed the needs of the Chicagoland community and receiving multiple awards for outstanding programming.
