    Jason Rude is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, and engineering, currently serving as the President of Simeon – Supportive Hearing Systems. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Jason leads an innovative organization dedicated to manufacturing assistive technology for hard-of-hearing students within the special education sector. His leadership focuses on enhancing educational access and inclusivity, leveraging his extensive background to create impactful solutions for children with hearing impairments.

    Before assuming his role at Simeon in November 2023, Jason honed his expertise as a Supply Chain Management Consultant, working independently since July 2022. In this capacity, he has provided strategic guidance to various clients, utilizing his deep industry knowledge to optimize supply chain processes and improve operational efficiencies. His consulting work complements his previous positions, where he demonstrated his ability to drive performance improvements and foster innovation within established organizations.

    From August 2021 to April 2022, Jason held the position of Director of Operations at Hudson’s Bay Company, where he played a critical role in enhancing operational effectiveness in a highly competitive retail landscape. Prior to that, he was Director of Operations at Stryker from December 2018 to June 2021, where he managed key operational strategies within the medical devices sector, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.

    Jason’s extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Plexxus, where he served as Director of Supply Chain Services from January 2013 to December 2018. In this role, he directed supply chain operations, optimizing procurement and logistics to better serve healthcare organizations. His career began at Cardinal Health Canada, where he spent nearly six years as the Director of Materials Management, leading initiatives that streamlined supply chain processes and improved inventory management.

    A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Jason furthered his education with a Master’s of Engineering from McMaster University. His academic background provides a solid foundation for his engineering and management acumen, equipping him with the skills necessary to address complex challenges in various industries, including healthcare and education.

    Throughout his career, Jason has developed a robust skill set in supply chain management, logistics, and project management. He has garnered numerous endorsements from colleagues for his expertise in areas such as supply chain optimization, process improvement, and cross-functional team leadership.
