    Jack Pacheco is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in the technology and manufacturing sectors. He currently serves as President of SMART Modular Technologies and Chief Operating Officer of SGH (NASDAQ: SGH), a global leader in specialty memory, LED, storage, and hybrid solutions. Since joining SGH in 2011, Jack has played a critical role in the company’s growth and diversification strategy, contributing to its FY23 revenues of $1.4 billion.

    As President of SMART Modular Technologies since 2020, Jack leads the company’s memory business, overseeing operations in the US and Malaysia. He is responsible for setting strategic direction, managing the full P&L, and leading all facets of the business, including sales, marketing, R&D, and operations. In addition, as COO of SGH, Jack manages information systems, global supply chain, and quality assurance.

    Previously, from 2011 to 2020, Jack served as Chief Operating and Financial Officer of SGH, where he was responsible for finance, information systems, operations, quality, materials, and supply chain services. He was instrumental in SGH’s successful IPO in 2017 and its subsequent secondary offering. Jack also led the company’s acquisition strategy, contributing to the creation of new business units and diversification into specialized computing platforms for AI and machine learning.

    Before joining SGH, Jack held CFO roles at Mirion Technologies and SMART Modular Technologies, where he led critical financial functions, public offerings, and compliance initiatives, including an IPO and a high-yield debt offering. Jack holds an MBA in Management from Golden Gate University and a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Washington State University.
