    Ferrin Moore: Transforming Aviation Through Integrity, Knowledge, and Strategic Leadership.

    Ferrin Moore is a seasoned aviation leader with over 35 years of diverse experience in both the private and government sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of his company, Nova Products LLC, and a recently retired Senior Aviation Policy Officer for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Aviation Management, Ferrin plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing aviation policies that enhance safety and operational efficiency across the nation.

    Before joining the Department of Energy, Ferrin dedicated 15 years to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) leaving as the Deputy Assistant  Manager for the Washington headquarters airworthiness branch with oversight of more than 50 FAA field offices throughout the U. S and Internationally. In this capacity, he managed airworthiness maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with operational and safety regulations for air carriers and general aviation operators. His expertise extends to human factors programs and projects focused on improving aviation maintenance standards, flight standards, and crew personnel selection and training.

    Ferrin’s background also includes significant contributions to United Airlines, where he worked in the Maintenance Division in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. His technical acumen is bolstered by certifications as an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic and a Commercial Pilot with Multiengine Instrument rating. He holds an FCC General Operator’s License and is a graduate of the FAA’s Aviation Safety Inspectors Course and the FAA Center for Management and Executive Leadership.
