A hospitalist at CoxHealth since 2016, he also serves as a civil surgeon for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), where he ensures that immigrants are free from communicable diseases as part of their integration process.
Dr. Lobati’s career began in Cameroon, where he was awarded a scholarship to study medicine in Germany, earning his MD from the prestigious University of Cologne in 1988. He also completed a diploma in community health and tropical medicine at Heidelberg University in 1989, cementing his commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
