In 1981, David became a pivotal figure in the transformation of Country Cookin, a family restaurant chain that would ultimately become a cornerstone of Virginia’s hospitality industry. Initially a minority owner, David gradually increased his stake, ultimately holding a 30% ownership share and guiding the company through decades of sustained growth. Under his leadership, Country Cookin expanded to seventeen locations and employed over six hundred people, all while maintaining a culture of excellence and community focus that distinguished the brand in a competitive industry.
