He has raised 10’s of millions for early-stage and troubled companies, guided them through cultural change, and designed, implemented and managed strategies for driving scalable growth and profitability to maximize their growth potential. Bob has very well-rounded industry experience including ESG, Sustainable, Renewable, Cleantech, Alternative Energy, and Green Power, all fitting into the Circular Economy. As well, he has worked with, built or sold Internet of Things (IoT), SaaS, Software Development, and Multimedia Content companies, along with Mechanical Contractors, Architectural practices, retail jewelry, and garment design & manufacturing organizations. In addition, he has helped build and manage Investment Banking and Venture Capital organizations as an officer of those organizations.

    BANDER INDUSTRIES INC. – REGINA SASKATCHEWAN March 10, 2024 – Present

    Bob serves as Executive Chairman on this bio-based company that addresses three global issues—plastic pollution, food waste, and water contamination by producing a liquid edible coating that reduces food spoilage. It does this by protecting against bacteria, mold, and other pathogens found in food products.

    ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE INTERNATIONAL INC. – WHITBY ONTARIO November 2013 – Present

    EWS is a Publicly traded company on the TSXV (Trading Symbol – EWS) using their proven, patented technologies to convert End-of-Life tires into valuable by-products such as reclaimed carbon black, steel, oil and syngas. The company has an asset light revenue model which generates margins for desigining installing and  commissioning plants and then receiving recurring revenue for the life of the plant from royalty payments. During part of this period Bob also served as CFO and then CEO.

    BLUEROVER INC. – CAMBRIDGE ONTARIO March 2021 – Present

    BLUEROVER has developed a cloud based agile, secure, AI enabled IoT platform for commercial grade applications. blueRover offers IoT as a service. Its IoT platform is a Wireless Remote Monitoring Service that uses Data to incent corrective action to change behaviour. The company’s market focus is Cold Chain Storage for the food and drug industry. The revenue modle is recurring monthly income. Bob also serves as a fractional CFO.

    EDE CAPITAL INC. – TORONTO ONTARIO June 29, 2022 – Present

    EDE is a registered Portfolio Manager and Investment Fund Manager with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), Alberta Securities Commission (ASC), British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC), and an Exempt Market Dealer with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).

    Investment Services – Portfolios are constructed with a strong focus on the Canadian metals and mining sector, and the rest of the portfolio is divided between biomedical healthcare, energy, and technology.

    Transaction Services – Provide Private Placement, M&A and Project Financing services for companies within all sectors of the natural resource industry.

    Education

    Bob’s educational background includes an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA) and an active member of professional organizations like Financial Executives International (FEI) and the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
